Badalona hides underground one of the most impressive archaeological treasures of Catalonia: more than 3,400 m² of Roman remains perfectly preserved in the subsoil of the Badalona Museum. Hot springs, streets, houses and objects found during decades of excavations that tell us about Baetulo, the ancient Roman city.

The Museum also protects and safeguards the city's entire historical heritage: documents, artistic objects, scientific and archaeological artifacts, and more.
