At Wham! we believe that culture can heal, accompany, and transform. That's why we've joined the Aladina Foundation, an organization that has been doing for almost 20 years what the system still doesn't recognize: truly caring for children and adolescents fighting cancer.
Did you know that, to this day, childhood cancer is still considered a "rare disease" by the Spanish government? That means fewer resources, less research, less support. But for the families who experience it, there's nothing more common, more real, more urgent.
The Aladina Foundation works in 22 hospitals throughout Spain, supporting more than 1,500 children and their families each year. They not only offer emotional and psychological support, but also renovate clinical spaces so that children can receive treatment in more humane, warmer, and more dignified environments.
